HomeCamera is an Internet home surveillance service that was created with everyday people in mind. It’s perfect for people who don’t want to pay thousands of dollars for surveillance equipment and installation techies. This site couldn’t be easier to use. I downloaded the Windows webcam security software. I then entered my HomeCamera user ID and password that I created when I signed-up for FREE, enter a name for your webcam (such as “home” or “livingroom”), and hit Connect. You’re done!

My absolute favorite thing about HomeCamera’s service is the fact that I can login to my account from any computer with internet access and check my surveillance. I’ve even checked their service on my iPhone and it works flawlessly. This is perfect for Parents who want to check in on their babysitter while their out, or if you have a grandparent who you’re worried about. Easily check to make sure everything is ok. Another feature that I love is home camera supports motion detection so that it can be used as a security system. Simply point your webcam to any door, window or the entire room and if HomeCamera detects any movement it will create a movie or take pictures and send it/them to your email or mobile phone. Wow! If my parents had this when I was a kid, my brother and I wouldn’t have gotten away with any childish antics while we were being babysat.

During Beta testing HomeCamera will be absolutely FREE. They won’t ask you for your CC# or charge you any hidden fees. I signed-up to be sure and I have been charge a total of $0.00.
